Voice of Queenslanders with Disability
Australia's Disability Strategy has ideas about how to make life better for people with disability across seven areas – called outcome areas.
Under Queensland's Disability Plan, we are making sure the outcome areas work for the diverse and unique disability community across Queensland.
For the second year, we have worked with Queenslanders with Disability Network and Griffith University on a project called the Voice of Queenslanders with Disability.
The goal of Voice of Queenslanders with Disability is to find out about inclusion and people's service experiences across the seven outcome areas of Australia's Disability Strategy and how they are changing in Queensland over time.
Voice of Queenslanders with Disability report
The Voice of Queenslanders with Disability 2024 report was published on Friday 16 August 2024. It tells us what is getting better and what is getting worse for Queenslanders with disability, and what we need to do to build a more inclusive Queensland.
You can find out more, and read the 2024 report, on the Queenslanders with Disability Network website.
